Ryu Tsuji

Ranked seventh in the S.A., Ryu is the son of a CEO of a sports company. Despite actually having the potential of having a higher rank than seven, Ryu is always constantly worried of Megumi and Jun who seem to fall asleep or become bored when the exam starts causing Ryu to have less time on the actual exam. He is clearly very attached to the Yamamoto twins and considers them to be like family since all three grew up together since birth. Like Jun and Megumi, Ryu can also be a bit possessive of the twins when the topic of Sakura and Yahiro come up (the twins' love interest) and fears of losing the both of them in the future. Out of all the S.A. members, Ryu is the most determined to protect their friendship and keep their bonds since all of them have such a long history together since elementary. He loves animals, sports and also seems to be good with children.

Finn Koupe Shuzette

Prince of a small nation, his huge secret is hidden from the world until another male heir is born. Even though he is quite reluctant to find a bride since he is quite specific on what woman he wants, crossing paths with Hikari in London changes his mind. Finn's ideal woman is exactly Hikari due her strong resemblance to his mother (long black hair, a tough attitude and more). Motivated to marry her, Finn follows Hikari all the way to Japan and even enrolls in Hakusenkan. Though Kei and Akira can be quite intimidating as he tries to win Hikari's affection, he is still determined to do what he can until he is eighteen, the age where he must marry in order to attain the throne and become king. Trying to find a way closer to Hikari, he uses Ryu who eventually finds out his secret and becomes his closest friend--and also potentially the one he loves. ♥

The Relationship

Introduced in chapter 47, Finn comes off as an arrogant and stubborn prince who is convinced that he should marry Hikari his exact ideal woman. With the help of Ryu, the two become close friends to point that there may even be a spark of love. ♥

Starting with a horrible nightmare of Jun and Megumi leaving him for Sakura and Yahiro, Ryu tries to reach out for them only to actually grab Finn in his sleep. Hearing his entire dream, Finn blackmails Ryu that he will tell the entire S.A. unless he helps him to try and swoon Hikari. Reluctant due to the fact that Akira and Kei might kill him, Ryu agrees. After much time spent together, Finn begins to really enjoy the other boy's company and friendship while Ryu begins agonizing that he might forbidden feeling for a boy--specifically Finn. Even the thought of Finn comes up when Sakura suggests Ryu should go and find a girlfriend. From holding his hand or just taking out leaves from his hair, Ryu can't help but blush from the close proximity that they are both in. When situation become even worse, Ryu tries to convince himself it's just his imagination; trying to convince himself that he is not falling for another man.

During one of Akira's tea parties, Akira brings up the topic of Sakura (and Yahiro), who is inviting the S.A. to a hot spring villa. Remembering his dream, Ryu's eyes brim with tears at the thought of loosing Megumi and Jun. Noticing before the others do, Finn tries to distract Ryu by tackling him causing both of them to get covers by Akira's desserts. Forced to take a bath to clean up the mess on them, both of them go off to the showers. Finn goes to take a shower first, while Ryu fixes up their clothes. When Ryu hears a crash and a scream coming from the bathroom he can't help but worry and rushes in only to find a surprise: Finn is a girl.

Even after Ryu finds out her secret (and even seeing all of Finn~) the two still remain as close friends--despite Finn's initial anger. With more obstacles to come for this couple potential pair (especially chapter 82-83), I'll be sure to write more about their relationship once English translations can be found around the net (it's hard relying on summaries as much as I love them). ♥
